Preceded in death by wife, Karen Swartz, Leone and Cecil Swartz, and a brother, Marvin Swartz.
Survived by wife, Kathy Swartz; son, Kirk Swartz; daughter, Kara Swartz; step-son, Tom Jiede (Valerie); step-daughter, Kim Carbee (Jason); grandchildren, Kodi, Jacob, Allie, Lauren, Elizabeth, Henry.
Ken retired from teaching and coaching at Burke High School and taught at UNO.
Visitation Wednesday from 6-8PM at Crosby Colonial Chapel. Funeral Service Thursday 10:30AM at Lutheran Church of the Master, 2617 S. 114th Street, Omaha, 68144. Interment 3:00PM at Fairmont Cemetery, Fairmont, Nebraska.
