George was an awesome older cousin, always so ornory, fuller of energy, attempting to be innocent. I remember when our older cousin got married, George raided the keg without getting caught, he then went around one by one telling all the cousins he had something for them out back behind the reception hall...it was approximately 40 cups of beer all lined up along the stairs. He made growing up fun and I sincerely miss those days with all of our cousins. 
Love you George, give Grandma and Grandpa Groves, Aunt Jeannie, cousin Mary a hug and kiss from all of us.

We are still in a state of shock over losing George Allen my sweet loving cousin always smiling you were a unique individual and enjoyed the little every day things in life..  gone way to soon you had so much more life to live , once again we are left with another hole in our hearts that can never be filled. I'm sure your up there with those who have gone before you making them all laugh as only you can. Catch you on the flip side big guy.  

I am so so sorry to hear of George’s passing.  He always put a smile on my face.  We shared a lot of memories, drinking, softball, boating and an Alabama concert.  He put a lot of fun in everything. He was full of life and for sure had a lot more to live.  He will be missed greatly.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you..  PK

George was such a great coworker friend.  When I was working at Abe’s he regularly visited us in the office with a funny story, or to talk about his family. His quick witted sense of humor often left me shaking my head and without words. :)
I’m sad he left this life early, he’ll be missed.  I’m praying for your family. 

I will always remember George for his larger than life personality!  He always had a smile on his face and could always make me laugh.  I will miss him dearly.  My deepest sympathies to all of the Groves family - please let me know if there is anything I can do for any of you!

My best memories of George - go back to the days at Fort Calhoun High School, playing sports together, the year or so that I roomed with him at his place in the Roseann Court in Blair, hauling trash or doing some work around John's Farm, hunting pheasants near Wyatt's place, Janet always had something good to eat, those are the days that I will always think of when I think back on my time and my friendship with him.

Dear Grove family....Very hard to hear of this man’s passing.  He was a year ahead of me in high school!  Rest In Peace George.  You were a man larger than life.  You are gone too quickly!

When I think of George, the first thing that comes to mind is his laugh. When you were with George there was always fun and laughter. The second was that look on his face when he was about to do something ornery. He will be greatly missed.
