Evelyn married William "Bill" Bender in 1946. She then married Robert W. Lucero Sr. in 1955. Finally, she married Ronald E. McCue on September 18, 1994. All preceded her in death. Evelyn dedicated her life to helping others and retired from Morningside in Olympia, WA in May 2003. She enjoyed reading, attending church, music, and shopping.
She is preceded in death by her brother Howard Franklin "Buck" Lee and sister Ilo Jean Lee.
Evelyn will be greatly missed and is survived by daughters Beverly June Reed of Tenino, Wa, Billie Sue McCue of Olympia, Wa, Vickie Ann Lucero of Milton, Wa, and son Robert Wilford Lucero Jr. of Omaha, Ne, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Evelyn will be held Monday, September 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.
