Ellen was a lifelong member of the Benson community and was a member of Temple Baptist Church for over 60 years. Ellen’s long career included years of work for Northwest Bell, Mutual of Omaha, First National Bank, and Crosby – Kunold Mortuary.
Though Ellen’s health was failing for years, few outside of her family and her friends within the Keystone Ridge retirement community knew the extent to which she struggled. She was a fighter until the very end.
Ellen is survived by her four children: Lloyd Coleman (Sharon), San Jose, CA; James Coleman Mauria), Omaha; Cherrie Elliot (Wayne), Omaha; Dee Hoffman (Dallas), Holt, MO; and her sister Ann Rayburn, Phoenix, AZ. She leaves Dozens of Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, and even a few great-great-grandchildren. There will be a graveside service at Prospect Hill Cemetery 3202 Parker St, Omaha, NE for Ellen at 10 am, Wednesday, June 10, 2020. While it is a family service, any friends who wish to attend may.
