Constance "Connie" Marie Fabry

Constance "Connie" Marie Fabry, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in Omaha, Nebraska. Connie was born August 20, 1942 in Meadville, Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Verena McMahan; brother, John McMahan; and niece, Cristina Guzman. Connie is survived by her husband, Julian Fabry; daughters, Mary Kathleen (Rod) Hamblin, Colette (David) Johnson, and Carolyn (Matt) Johnson; grandchildren, Emily (Christian) Montoya, Anna (Taylor) Christensen, Sydney Johnson and Cade Johnson; great-grandchildren, Julian Montoya and Nora Christensen; siblings, Helen (John) Guzman, Dee McMahan (wife of John McMahan), William (Dana) McMahan, Margaret (Jim) Aho, Thomas (Becky) McMahan, Elizabeth (Phil) Stowe, Teresa (Bill) Gracheck, Monica (Tim) Coan and Christopher (Larissa) McMahan.

She was an active gardener who enjoyed sharing her produce with her neighbors. She enjoyed baking and building fairy houses with her grandchildren. We could always find her at the dining room table with her magnifying glass and a puzzle. Connie also found lots of comfort over the years in bible study and prayer groups with her friends from St. Margaret Mary’s Parish.

A visitation for Connie will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church, 6116 Dodge Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68132.
