Cathy Eva Gresham

Cathy was born on September 27,1955 to Richard and Lillie Harris-Gresham. She was the oldest of five children. Growing up, Cathy attended Omaha Public Schools where she later graduated from Omaha North High School with the class of 1973. Her first job was at First Data Corp for 20 plus years.

Cathy was such a very loving person. She loved her family and friends hard. Cathy was also a great dancer as she was growing up, the best. She loved to sing and could recite every lyric of every song she ever heard. Her favorite band was ETC., a great band from Omaha. She enjoyed playing with the band with her tambourine and her maracas. She enjoyed playing cards and having parties, and she loved her family very much. Oh yes, she was an excellent cook and everyone loved her food. Her meals were delicious. Cathy was a very hard worker until God called her home. Our Cathy will certainly be missed.

God called our Cathy home on May 12, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Gresham; and nephew, Terrell D. Gresham Jr.

Cathy leaves to cherish her memories her two sons, Tyrone Gresham of California and Jarrel Gresham of Omaha; her wonderful mother, Lillie Harris-Gresham; five sisters, Brenda Gresham of Athens, GA, Lorita Gresham, Barbara Gresham, Betty Gresham, and Beatrice Gresham, all of Omaha, NE; and two brothers, Richard Gresham Jr. and Larry Gresham of Athens, GA; 4 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, many more relatives and list friends.

A memorial service for Cathy will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.

Cathy will be laid to rest in Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.
