Carolyn Elaine Roberts

Carolyn lived in Omaha, Nebraska for the majority of her life, graduated from South High School, and lived in the Spring Lake Park area for many years. She went to her eternal home with the Lord on May 1, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and she was a long time member of Bellevue Community Church. Carolyn loved her family and the Lord above all. She prayed faithfully and encouraged others with scripture that she had memorized. For many years she served Jesus and led others to him by teaching Sunday School and leading Bible studies. She was filled with God-given wisdom, grace and peace.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lucille Anderson, her husband of 63 years, Richard, and their three infant children. Carolyn is survived by her children Roy (Sue) Roberts, Tim (Trudy) Roberts, and Lynne (Kurt) Osmanson, her grandchildren, Andrew (Meghan), Rachel (Adam), Brice (Moriah), Nic, Josh, Isaac and Zach, her three great grandchildren, Declan, Shane and Ella, her sister, Judy Newton, brother, Russel (Fran) Anderson, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bellevue Community Church, BBN Radio, Child Evangelism Fellowship, Endless Journey Hospice, or to the family for designation.

Memorial Service to be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Bellevue Community Church, 8601 S. 36th Street. Private interment at Westlawn Hillcrest Memorial Park.
