Sandra “Sandy” K. Tinker, daughter of Thurman (deceased) and Margaret Tinker passed away on November 11, 2021, after an eight-month battle with cancer. Born on 4/28/50 Sandy is survived by Betty Russell (Mike), Ann Vinson, Pat Anthony, Brenda Short (David), Beverly Farrell (Richard), Becky Mahaffy (Kevin), Shelly Ellis and 15 nieces and nephews, as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Sandy, a graduate of the University of Memphis, with a BFA in Interior Design, used her skills for several large firms: Gresham Smith in Nashville, 3D International Design in Houston, Holiday Inns, LRK, and Saia Trim Group in Memphis, Tennessee. Sandy spent her free time enjoying hobbies, such as sewing, cooking, reading and, whenever possible, visiting Destin, Florida. A visitation for Sandy will be held Friday, November 19, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. with the service following at 11:00 A.M. at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum Street, Olive Branch, MS 38654.
