Mary Lee Gunter

Mary Lee Gunter, 85, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Mrs. Gunter was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Gunter; parents, Charley and Bessie Way; brother, Charles Way; brother, Bob Way; and sister, Betty Ratcliff. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Manning(Ron); daughter, Rhonda Baldwin; son; Melvin Gunter(Kimberly); grandchildren: Katy Gunter, Jacob Gunter, Ericka Rivera Lemon(Richard), Bradley Rivera, John Baldwin III(Melissa), Crystal Holland Russell(Ken), Tammy Byrd, and Joshua Holland; great-grandchildren: John Baldwin IV, Regan Baldwin, Matthew Baldwin, Dylon Byrd, Brittany Byrd, Malachi Roberts, and Kalebb Holland; sister, Toby Baker; sister, Dolly Barlow; and brother, Daniel Way. Mrs. Gunter was retired from Lonoke Co. Schools where she worked as a cafeteria manager. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, and knitting. She was a loving mother and Mamaw and will be dearly missed by her family. The family will receive friends at Brantley Funeral Home for a time of visitation on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 12-1:15 pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:15 pm. Interment will be at West TN Veterans Cemetery.
