Mark Steven Majovski, Sr., 66, Marine Veteran, answered his final roll call on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at his Olive Branch home with his family around him. Mark was born in Portland, Oregon. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam conflict and was always a proud Marine.
Mark is survived by his wife Judy Carol Majovski; his parents Merrilu and John George Majovski of Portland OR; brother Matthew (Joan) Majovski of Redwing, MN.; sister Molly (Casey) Blann of Lake Tahoe, CA; brother Merrick Majovski of Portland, OR; daughter Melissa Majovski Lovorn of Hernando, MS.; son Mark Majovski Jr. of Savannah, TN. ; daughter Angela Carol Mosley of Olive Branch, MS. Son Michael David (Peggy) Priester of Olive Branch, MS. and eight grandchildren.
Prior to his 27 years of living with Multiple Sclerosis, Mark worked in construction and later self taught himself Computer Aided Architecual Drafting, of which he practiced until his health failed him. He was a proud Marine marksman and he let everyone know this. He will be remembered by his strong will to live and the love he had for his bride of 30 years.
The family reguest that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
A gathering of friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2014 at Brantley Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 also at Brantley Funeral Home with burial to follow at Southwoods Memorial Park.
