William Clyde Stull, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born March 24, 1947 to the late Chester Franklin and Elma Christine Stull in Memphis, TN. Clyde devoted his entire adult career to the profession of sprinkler fitting, passionately contributing to the field as a lifelong member of the local Sprinkler Union 669. Retiring at the age of 55, he found joy in riding motorcycles, fishing, and hunting, but his greatest pleasure was cheering on his son during sprint car races. Known for his simplicity and deep faith, Clyde was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Rae Stull; his son, William Kevin Stull; his parents, Chester Franklin and Elma Christine Stull, and four siblings: Ronald Stull, Linda Marshall, Robert Stull, and Joseph Stull. Clyde leaves behind his son, Raymond Stull and “his favorite daughter in law,” Renee Stull, and his sister, Rita Stull. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Will Stull, Lela Caffey, Taylor Wilemon and two great granddaughters, Ayla Jade Wilemon and Natalie Caffey. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at Cockrum United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3945 Hwy 305 Hernando, MS 38632.
