Alice Muriel Vinson

Alice Muriel Vinson, 89, of Byhalia, MS went to be with the Lord on November 17, 2023. Mrs. Vinson was born on July 29, 1934 in Capleville, MS to the late James Herman and Mamie Craig Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Vinson; son, Glenn Clark Vinson; and siblings: Lucille, May, Bobby, Sam, Bill, Sarah, Paul, and Ernest. She is survived by her son, Roger Eugene Vinson; grandson, Lawson Noah Vinson; brother, John Williams; and sister, Dorothy Teague. She went to cosmetology school as a young lady and worked as a hairdresser for many years. In her spare time, she was an avid gardener and had been a member of the Byhalia Garden Club and the Memphis Iris Club. She was a kind and caring lady who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Mrs. Vinson was a believer in Jesus Christ and a member of Victoria United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Victoria United Methodist Church.
