Dylan Richard Miles, 22, passed away unexpectedly, January 29, 2019 at his home in Old Town. He was born June 6, 1996, beloved son of George and Kristi.
Dylan was a 2014 graduate of Old Town High School, where he played both baseball and football- but football was his life. After high school, he joined the Air National Guard. Dylan was a hard worker and could fix anything. He was always handy when working on vehicles. A true country boy at heart, Dylan loved to go four wheeling and mud-running, and was always up for a ride on his motorcycle. Dylan was always rooting for the Patriot’s to win. He loved spending time at his grandfather’s camp on Stetson Pond and the 4th of July at Lamoine Beach State Park. Dylan enjoyed going hunting with his dad and his grandfather, as well as spending time with his friends. He was a good kid with a huge heart, always ready to lend a helping hand or stand up for the underdog. He loved life, his family and friends, but his grandparents always held a special place in his heart.
Dylan is survived by his mother, Kristi Doughty and her fiancé, Bill Noyes of Old Town; father, George Miles and step-mother Debbie of Orono; sister, Ashley Burgess-Miles of Old Town; grandparents, Janet and Roy Thurston, and Richard and Pat Doughty; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by special nieces, Kiairah and Aidriana; special cousin, Riley Colgan; and dear friends, Melissa Hudak, Jacob Earl, RT Higgins, and Brandon Emerson. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Sharron Doughty; and uncle, Rodney Thurston.
