Janet Catherine Bacon

She was born on October 18, 1940, in Malden, Massachusetts to Charles and Dorothy (Murphy) Hureau.

Janet worked for many, many years at Porter and Chester Institute, Wethersfield, Ct campus. She enjoyed her job and loved talking to the students. Her favorite pastimes were crocheting, cooking for family get togethers and watching reruns of Little House on the Prairie and The Gilmore Girls. Her passion and true love were for her grandsons who she loved unconditionally and spoiled immensely.

Janet is survived by her daughter Dorothy Hureau and her husband David Dancause of Westbrook; her sister Charlene Korich and her husband Tom of Minnesota; grandchildren Michael Gross and his fiance Krista Mondor and Tyler Angell and his partner Delorian Pappas; great grandchildren Kaiden Gross, Brayden and Declan Angell and many nieces and nephews who she absolutely adored.

In addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by her sister Joan Suarez and her nephew Phillip Suarez.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
