Margaret Mary Coffee Kus

Mrs. Kus was born on October 29, 1941 in Fort Scott, Kansas she was the daughter Kenneth and Margaret Keating Coffee. She married Alvin Kus on August 20, 1960, he predeceased her in 1998. She was employed as a Registered Nurse in the West Haven VA Hospital for thirty three years.

Mrs. Kus is survived by her son Kevin Kus of Old Lyme, her two daughters Kathleen Kus and Therese Kus both of Old Lyme, her four grandchildren Shaina Kus Wells, Matthias, Jillian and Destiny Kus. Other significant family members include Amy and Jenni McDowell; Jeff, Allen and Robert Ames and Jason LaPrade; three brothers Kenneth, John and Hugh Coffee and two sisters Shirley Coffee and Josephine McCulloch. She was predeceased by a sister, Sister Sharon Coffee.

A Christian Mass will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 11:00 am at Christ the King Church, Old Lyme.
