He is preceded in death by his mother, Dolores Collier Carey; sisters, Yolanda Elliott and Tianna Carey, and niece, Lashonda Carey.
Minister Carey is survived by loving wife, Julee Stone Carey; daughters, Allie, Taija, Summer, and Kailee Carey; father, Jerry W. Carey Sr.; brothers, Jerry Carey Jr, Darryl (Petra) Carey, and Rodney (Tonya) Carey; three grandchildren, Cyrisn, Drake, and Mia, and several nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Hermitage Funeral Home at 1:00 pm with Pastor Dave Goldner officiating.
Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service at Hermitage Funeral Home.
