Rose Lee

Mrs. Lee and her husband, Billy, enjoyed square dancing together. For a decade, they were members of the Nashville Square Dancers. She enjoyed shopping and was stylish in her dress. She always presented as a beautiful, fashionable lady. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and had a fierce love for her family. She was a great cook and enjoyed the holiday gatherings. She especially loved the planning and preparation for their family gatherings. She loved well, was loved well, and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Lee is predeceased by her father, James Perry Morgan; her mother, Fronia (Cooper) Morgan; siblings, U. L. Morgan, Unetta Morgan Masters, Martha Morgan Fields, George Morgan, Shirley C. Morgan; half-siblings Lester Morgan, Vestal Morgan, Haskell Morgan, and Alton Morgan.

Mrs. Lee is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Billy Joe Lee; sister, Leola Morgan Masters; brother, Joseph Perry Morgan (Janie); son, Jeff Lee (Tonia); daughter, Beth Parsons (Roger); grandchildren Jessica Lee, Dylan Lee, Brittney Parsons, and Brandy Hartley (Logan); and her best friend of 60 years, Beverly Lancina. Mrs. Lee also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.

There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends at Hermitage Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 5pm – 8pm, and Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 11am – 1pm. A Celebration of Life will begin on Thursday, February 23, at 1pm in the Tulip Grove Room at the funeral home with Rev. Jimmy Hendricks and Rev. Phillip Morgan, officiating. James Masters, Ray Masters, Early Morgan, Johnny Rose, Randy Morgan, and David Knowles will serve as pallbearers. Dylan Lee and Logan Hartley will serve as honorary pallbearers. Following the service, Mrs. Lee will be laid to rest in the Garden of Gethsemane at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
