Ronald Dee Kimble SR

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Golden Donald Kimble; his mother, Ruth Elizabeth Kimble; and his older brothers, Golden Barney Kimble and Carl Allen Kimble.

Ron is survived by his loving and devout wife, Melinda Sue Kimble; children, Ronald D. Kimble, Tony S. Kimble, Christopher D. Kimble, Brandi N. Kimble (Jerry); 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother Joel; and fur baby, Sir Winchester Simon Kimble (Winnie).

Ron's faith in the Lord and his love of learning were ever-present in his life.

With that faithful knowledge, he had an affinity for history, geography, and travel. Combined with his natural ability to meet and engage people in their own element, Ron was a natural leader who inspired and cultivated relationships.

His faith was deep, and his devotion to God was reflected in being of service to his family and fellow man. He met every challenge head-on and embraced the beauty of being humble yet steadfast.

As he learned, he taught.

Ron was a welcoming presence that exuded confidence. He carried himself with the dignity and grace that commanded respect. For the mature mind, He would accept nothing less than accountability from those who sought counsel. Quick to reassure yet slow to judge, he knew every problem had its solution.

His favorite place was with the youth and young of heart; with them, he was approachable and welcoming. He listened with intent and purpose and taught through with faithful experiences.

He served faithfully on Sunday mornings as a 2nd Grade Life Group Leader in children's ministry and was honored to dedicate his love of God in service of the church and the spiritual growth of young souls.

Services for Ronald will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church

3475 Lebanon Pike, Hermitage TN 37076.The family will begin receiving friends for Visitation 2 pm – 4 pm CT. Followed by the Celebration of Life at 4 PM with Pastor Matt Hill officiating.
