CORBITT, Robert Joseph, Jr., age 77 of The Villages, Florida died Saturday, January 8, 2011 in The Villages, Florida. He was born in Nashville, TN and came to The Villages 10 years ago from Nashville. Mr. Corbitt was a retired inspector with the Ford Motor Company Glass Division, Nashville. He was a Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #347, Lady Lake, FL, V.F.W. Nashville, TN. He was an avid golfer, loved Yahtzee and was Methodist by faith. Surviving are his wife; Judy B. Corbitt, The Villages; sons, Robert J. Corbitt, III, Nashville, TN; Tim B. Bullington, Joelton, TN; daughter, Kimberly Corbitt, Nashville, TN; sister Elizabeth Jakes, Pompano Beach, FL; grandchildren, Robert Blake Corbitt, Taylor Alan Corbitt, Marisa Elizabeth Bullington. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday January 14, 2011 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel, interment to follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday.
