Robert ""Bobby" Shelton Caroland

Bob graduated from Jo Byrns High School in 1964 and received the Top Teen of Robertson County Award that year. After attending Middle Tennessee State University and Austin Peay State University, he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from The University of Tennessee in 1979. He worked for Sky Chef Catering Company for several years.

Bob is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Guthrie Caroland; his mother, Gladys Fredora (Shelton) Caroland; sister, Emma Hall of Stone Mountain, GA; and brother, L. G. Caroland, Jr. of Greenbriar, TN. He is survived by brother, Ray Caroland (Rosemary) of Greensboro, GA; sister, Dora Yates of Cookeville, TN; sister, Kathy Crisp of Memphis, TN; and sister, Rev. Fairy Caroland of Macon, GA. Bob also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends for Bob at Hermitage Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 17, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the Andrew Visitation Room. Visitation will be followed by a Celebration of Bob’s Life in the Tulip Grove Chapel of the funeral home with Bob’s sister, Rev. Fairy Caroland officiating. Following the service, Bob will be laid to rest in the Garden of Devotion at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
