Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Lisa H. (Alan Mays) McClellan; Sons, Richard Troy (Amy) Hoffman,
and Vincent T. Hoffman; Brother, James Hill (Joyce) Holman; Sisters: Mae Florence (Clarence) Southall
and Mary Alice (Clarence) Gates; Grandchildren, Christopher T. (Amber) McClellan, Alina Ann Hoffman,
Amara Berg and Alyssa Berg; Great-grandchildren; Logan T. McClellan, Landon M. McClellan and Lucas B. McClellan and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was born in Celina, TN to Buford and Clara Holman on November 25, 1934. Marjorie was a
Legal Secretary for the Internal Revenue Service. Upon her retirement with the IRS, she worked for the
Madison Suburban Utility District. She was a faithful member of the Maple Hill Church of Christ in
Lebanon.
Marjorie married Arthur Thomas (Tom) Hoffman in 1980 and they spent 36 wonderful years
together. They enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. In her years of retirement, she became a Master
Gardener. She took great pride in her canning expertise and received numerous Blue Ribbons in both
the Wilson County and Tennessee State Fairs. Friends and family enjoyed her sharing her harvest.
Mimi spent her last few years being cared for by Amber, Christopher, Logan, Landon and Lucas. Their
loving care for her is greatly appreciated by her entire family.
Services for Marjorie will be conducted by Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 535 Shutes
Lane, Hermitage, Tennessee on Friday, February 3, at 11:00 am in the Tulip Chapel.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 5:00 pm - 7:00pm and at 10:00 am Friday,
February 3.
Interment to follow in the Hermitage Memorial Gardens
