Margaret Carolyn Stephens, 88, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away November 25, 2023. She was born December 20, 1934 in Decatur, Alabama, to parents, Paul B. and Essie Aileen (Gossett) Hutchison.
Mrs. Stephens is preceded in death by her loving husband, James E. Stephens. She is survived by her son, Steve Adams (Regina “Sis); her daughter, Nancy M. Allen (Ross); her granddaughters Brittany Stover (Sean), Christian Keen, and Rhiannon Cashion (Drew); sister, Janice Veloso; and brother, Paul Hutchison (Dorothy “Dot”). Mrs. Stephens also leaves behind five great grandchildren.
There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends on Saturday, December 9, from 12:30pm – 2pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Stephens will begin at 2:00pm in the Tulip Grove Room at the funeral home with Bro. Marty Cooper officiating. Following the service, Mrs. Stephens will be laid to rest in the Garden of Peace at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
