Linda Joyce Loman, 77, of Old Hickory, TN, passed away September 8, 2023, holding her husband’s hand and surrounded by her family. She was born September 29, 1945 in Shelbyville, TN, to parents, Jesse and Fenita Gibson.
Linda graduated from Shelbyville Central High School with the Class of 1964. She was the eldest of three siblings and was very helpful in raising her younger brother and sister. After the passing of her first husband and father of her children, she met and married Donnie Loman, and they built a beautiful life together. After retiring as the office manager for a food distribution company, in her spare time, Linda enjoyed scrap-booking and traveling the United States and abroad with her husband. Along with Donnie, she was an active member of the Tulip Grove Baptist Church.
Linda’s greatest joy was spending time with family. She was a loving mother and a doting grandmother who loved deeply and will be greatly missed.
