I'm the short time I got to know Wade he was nice to me and accepted me, even called me family because I don't have any left. He made me laugh, & smile. Wade was a beautiful person, now he is an angel looking from heaven watching each one of us. He will forever remain in our hearts, he is here in spirit. Each time you see a beautiful dragonfly it will be him dropping in to say hello. 
I understand that losing a loved one is so very hard. Grief takes time, there is no time limit, we just learn to take one day at a time to understand how to get by each day. But we need to remember in each one of us Wade will always be there, he touched our hearts, he will live on as we keep him in our memory. He can rest now that he is will The Lord. I so wish I could have taken the cancer away to allow him to keep on living with his family. 
I am not trying to be disrespectful on any way, I will miss Wade, my heart is heavy. I will forever be grateful because he showed me so much kindness. 
Melissa if you need to talk just to have someone listen, I'll always be here. I'm sorry I can't do much, but I'll try my best to do what I can.

Growing up across the street from the Dever family was something i will never forget they have always been like family. Wade was like a little brother to me.  Then as adults i was excited to be involved in his and Melissa's wedding. He was a good friend a good man and will be missed.

I remember he would always tell me  not to listen to the Alabama song my mom always told me to sing, he was a big fan of Tennessee, and I remember when my mom said he was in his final weeks, I sat there and cried because I wanted to have my last goodbye while he was still with us, he was a great man. The thought that went through my head was that I wanted that last goodbye so I could say I love you and other stuff I wanted to say. When I found out about his passing it broke my heart, because I knew that would a very hard thing for Melissa and John to go through and I feel really bad for you guys. I have yall and whoever else knew him as well as I did in my prayers. I'm so sorry Melissa and John for yall's loss and I'm here for yall no matter what just want yall to know that! I love yall!!
