Preceded in death by her parents, former husband & father of her children Dan Clayton, and her husband Neil Mullen, her son Danny Clayton, and grandchildren Dave Hewitt (Amanda) and Brooke Wright.
Survived by her children Linda Taylor (Redmond) and Kathy Sarno (John) , daughter in law Terrie Clayton; grandchildren Bill Wright (Heather) and JD Clayton; and great grandchildren Eli and Brynn Wright and Ruby Hewitt.
Jeanne attended West End High School in Birmingham Alabama, graduated from Birmingham Southern College. Where she was a member of AOII Sorority, and received her masters degree from Peabody College Vanderbilt. She taught school for many years at Dodson Elementary in Hermitage. She was a active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
A visitation for Jeanne will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, followed by a graveside service at 1:00 PM with Bro Jud Hays officiating.
