Jack Wayne Ritchie

Jack was a fast car enthusiast and, in earlier days, would purchase a new, sporty car every year. He enjoyed gardening and sailing his boat on the lake. Jack was an Information Technology (IT) Manager in his professional career. After retirement, being a person who enjoyed talking with people, he became a sales associate in the sporting goods department at Wal-Mart and was eventually promoted as a Department Manager. Jack loved well, was well-loved, and will be greatly missed.

Jack is predeceased by his father, Junius Ritchie; his mother, Emma Lou (Burden) Ritchie; brothers-in-law, Edward Sears and John Sears; and sisters-in-law, Bonnie Sue Newkirk and Carol Richey. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sherri Ritchie; sisters-in-law Beverly Randall, Marcella Hill, and Rebecca Sears; brothers-in-law Darwin Newkirk and Jerry Richey; and his faithful cocker spaniel canine companion, “Lady Bug”. Jack also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
