Mr. Vaughn will long be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Mr. Vaughn worked for Gannett Publishing for more than thirty years. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, taking long drives, hanging out with his friends, and collecting Civil War memorabilia.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by his children Jonathan (Nicole) Vaughn and Jennifer Vaughn; grandchildren Raelynn Elise Vaughn, Knox-Rian Evelyn Vaughn, Tomi Collins Susan Vaughn; sister Michelle Wright; sister-in-law Stephanie Vaughn; nephews Timothy Vaughn, Andrew Vaughn, Kenneth (Whitney) Wright; niece Megan Shearin; and a large extended family.
Mr. Vaughn is preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Mary Ann Vaughn, and brother, Johnny Vaughn.
There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 12 noon until 2:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00pm.
