Matthew Edward Nascher, 59, of Old Bridge, NJ entered into eternal life suddenly on Wednesday August 12, 2015. Born in Detroit, MI to the late Anselm Matthew "Ed" Nascher and Rita Marie (Whitwell) Nascher, he lived in Staten Island, NY before moving to Old Bridge 28 years ago.
Matthew was a graduate of St. John’s University, Staten Island Campus. For the past 15 years Matthew worked in retail with Walmart, most recently the US Highway 9 location in Old Bridge.
Matthew was an avid Mets fan... but most of all, he was famous for his sense of humor.
Matthew is survived by his devoted wife of 29 years, Deborah (Crowley) Nascher; his adored daughters Caitlin and Cathleen Nascher; his loving sisters Mary (and her husband William) Piciocco, Anna (and her husband Gregory) Tupe’, Kathaleen (and her husband William) Clarke; his beloved father-in-law Thomas Crowley; his dear sister-in-law Patricia (and her husband James) Brennan, dear brother-in-law Thomas Crowley and dear sister-in-law Laura Crowley. Matthew is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Matthew also leaves behind his faithful dog Bailey.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation Friday, August 14, 2015 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 US Highway 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A Funeral Prayer service will take place 10am Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the funeral home immediately followed by entombment at Holy Cross Burial Park, 840 Cranbury South River Road, Jamesburg, NJ 08831
