Anna Nyanko

Anna (Kovalewski) Nyanko, 96, of Old Bridge died peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday, August 9, 2015. Anna was born in Meriden, CT to her dear parents Stanley and Anna (Gudelski) Kovalewski. She lived in Newark, NJ for 44 years before moving to Old Bridge 29 years ago.

Anna was a homemaker. She enjoyed bingo, playing the lottery and absolutely loved scratch off lottery tickets. Above all else Anna adored spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Anna is predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years Vincent Edward Nyanko (1999) and is survived by her loving daughter Margaret Rose Goldrick of Old Bridge; her adored granddaughter Rebecca (and her husband Stephen) Sparks of Woodstock, GA; and her cherished great-grandchildren Spencer and James Sparks. Anna also leaves behind her faithful companion Buster who was always by her side.

Friends and Relatives are invited to attend visitation Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 3pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 9pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 US Highway 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:15am Thursday, August 13, 2015 at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church, 333 NJ-18, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. Entombment will immediately follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens US Highway 1 North, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
