Mary lived in St. Louis with her two daughters and Bob was living in Olathe KS where he worked for the Federal Aviation Administration. There wasn’t a week that went by where Bob wasn’t travelling back to St. Louis to see Mary and the girls on his days off. After 9 years of dating long distance, he made it official on April 1st, 1983.
Shortly after the girls got out of school for summer break, they moved to Olathe KS. They have all lived in the area for over 40 years. In addition to working at the FAA center, Bob was a jack of all trades, he could fix almost anything. Mary worked in the insurance field for some time and was the nurturer for others.
They enjoyed being with family and travelling abroad with their best friends.
Their love for each other spilled over into the love for their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many more family and friends.
