Raydeane L. Hayes

Raydeane LaVaune Hayes, 93 of Olathe, Kansas passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 21, 2024. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother great-great grandmother, aunt and friend to everyone she knew.

Raydeane was born on September 18, 1930 in Butte Montana to Raymond and Myrtle (Steele) Roller. She grew up in Joplin, Missouri.

Raydeane loved to skate, cook and square dance. She married the love of her life Bill Hayes at the tender age of fourteen. They were married seventy-four years. Together they raised their three children.

Raydeane is preceded in death by her parents, husband William (Bill) Hayes, daughter Joyce Hayes and her son Billy Hayes. She is survived by her daughter Crystal R. Hayes and daughter-in-law Sharon Hayes. Left behind to cherish her memory are her four grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas. Interment in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens 13901 South Black Bob Road Olathe, Kansas. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
