Nyle Lawrence Clark, 79, of Olathe, Kansas passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 6, 2019. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to everyone he met.
Nyle was born on January 11, 1940 in Iberia, Missouri to John and Wilma Ann (Parsons) Clark. He came to Kansas City in the early 1960’s and worked in the Auto Body Profession. He also spent some time working in the carpet business with his brother. In the last several years he owned his own auto body business where he worked and spent time enjoying his hobby of restoring cars.
Nyle is preceded in death by his parents, John and Wilma Clark, sister, Patsy Hurtubise, brothers, Cecil Clark, Conley Clark, two sisters-in-law, Louise Clark and Deanna Clark and two brothers-in-law, Phil Hurtubise and Irving Meinrath. He is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Linda Joyce (Bunch) Clark of the home, daughter, Andrea Dudley and her husband Scott of St. Charles, Missouri and son Kevin Clark and his wife Sheryl of Belton, Missouri. Left behind to cherish his memory are his grandson, Samuel Dudley and his granddaughter, Anna Dudley both of Dallas, Texas. He will be sadly missed by his siblings: sister, Lois Meinrath, brother, Leonard Clark, sister, Marcia Cunningham and her husband Curt, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Clark. Nyle is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
“Celebration Of Life” will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas. Visitation 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15th one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Nyle will be cremated according to his wishes.
