Dorothy L. Campbell (nee Lawler), 85 years old, passed away Friday, February 4, 2001 in Olathe, Kansas. She was born August 26, 1925 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late William and Emily Lawler and was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years Delwin M. Campbell Jr., daughter Nancy Murphy and brother Jack Lawler.
Dorothy grew up in Bayonne NJ, living with her Aunt May, and graduated Marmaroneck High School, in 1943. She spent many of her adult years in Florida and moved in 2000 to Olathe, KS to be near her only daughter, Nancy and her family. Dottie was an accomplished golfer and loved knitting, reading and taking care of her cats.
She is survived by brother Edward Lawler (Jean), Reno, Nevada, grandsons Brian and Timothy Murphy and son-in-law Terry Murphy.
Dorothy's ashes will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
