Dora Helen Smith

Dora H. Smith, formally of Bartlesville, OK, died July 21, 2022 at the age of 98 in Olathe, KS. She was the daughter of Samuel S. Woolfolk and Inez (Yoho) Woolfolk. She grew up on the family farm near Pratt, Kansas which was homesteaded by her grandfather in 1884.

She attended grade school in a one room rural schoolhouse and graduated from Pratt High School in 1940. She was married to Guilford Smith of Pratt in 1942. They were divorced in 1968.

Before her retirement in 1985, Mrs. Smith worked as a teller for 14 years for the First National Bank in Bartlesville. She was also involved in Little Theater, American Business Women, BartViews, Good Shepard Church, Silver Splash Community Center and other volunteer projects in Bartlesville.

She loved her family, photography, reading and travel. Survivors include daughter Linda Hope of Lawrence, KS, sons Gary Smith of Overland Park, KS and Kent Smith of Woodland, CA. 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dr. Peggy Smith, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
