After working for King Radio for several years, she began driving a school bus for RW Harmon in the Olathe School District. Mrs. Davey was admired and loved by the students and was often requested for trips and events. She was an avid sports fan who enjoyed cheering on her Kansas City A’s, Royals, Chiefs, KU Basketball and favorite NASCAR drivers. Audrey and Russell enjoyed bowling together and she was ever so proud of her Perfect 300 game and All Spare game. In 1975 she began her cherished Hallmark ornament collection. One of her favorite pastimes was to bird watch, so much so that she could identify each one by their distinct songs.
