Alisha Michelle Klein, 45, of Olathe, Kansas passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, daughter, aunt and friend to everyone she knew.
Alisha was born on November 24, 1975 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert Wadell and Donna Sue (Ritchie) Brooks. She attended and graduated from Moore High School in Moore, Oklahoma. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Oklahoma State University. She married the love of her life Michael David Klein on August 15, 2004 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Together they raised their son Alex. She worked for Sprint, and she was an active PTC (Parent Teacher Council) member throughout her son’s years in grade school and middle school. She was a “Hockey Mom”, “Baseball Mom”, and “Taekwondo Mom”. She will be sadly missed.
Alisha is preceded in death by her father Robert Wadell Brooks. She is survived by her loving husband of seventeen years Michael D. Klein and her son Alex Klein. Left behind to cherish her memory are her mother Donna Sue Brooks, two brothers Christopher Wadell Brooks and his wife Michelle, Matthew Ryan Brooks and his wife Rakel, father and mother in-law David and Margaret Klein, sister-in-law Katherine Klein. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephew Ryan Brooks, Hailey Brooks, Karley Brooks, Emma Cloud, and Avery Cloud.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday morning, May 17, 2021 at the McGilley-Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas. Interment in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens 13901 South Black Bob Road Olathe, Kansas. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00p.m. Sunday evening, May 16, 2021 at the funeral home. A casual celebration will be held from 2-5pm Monday after the funeral at 19604 W. 98th Terrace Lenexa, KS 66220.
