Stanley J. Wall was born on August 6, 1932 in Kansas City, Kansas to the union of Henry Wall and Martha Regier Wall. Stan slipped away from this earth to be with his wife on Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Stan is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Honey Dene Wall, who was the love of his life for more than 60 years. Stan married Honey Dene on October 1, 1955 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. They made their home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where they raised their children. Stan worked at the Oklahoma City Clinic as a Medical Technologist where he oversaw all aspects of the laboratory. While working at the Oklahoma City Clinic, Stan also worked part time in the Presbyterian Hospital laboratory, where he would eventually finish his career. Stan had the honor of operating the first heart/lung pump in Oklahoma City under the supervision of Dr. Denton Cooley. Stan was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City for nearly 60 years where he was active in many areas. He was the League Secretary of the Baptist Men's Bowling League and enjoyed working in the kitchen serving dinner on Wednesday evenings. Stan loved to sing and was a member of the church choir for many years.
Stan is survived by his daughter; Laura Ward, son; Jay Wall, grandchildren; Drew Wall, Amanda Wall and Kara Ward and sisters Lucille Travis and Nadine McPherson.
