Stacy Gilbert passed away peacefully in her sleep at the too early age of 61. Stacy was a loving mother to Madison. Stacy was a wife to Richard for 19 years. Stacy was the respected administrator for St. George Greek Orthodox Church for 4 years. She has also served for over 15 years for other church communities providing services to families as well as support to others in the community with a caring and kind heart. Stacy was an amazing spirit and had a talent for making everyone smile and laugh. Those who had the honor of knowing her would have a story about a time that showed her true pure spirit and loving nature.
She is remembered for her creativity, beautiful voice, style and silliness. She was a courageous warrior in her battle against cancer, not only in the fight but in joy of ringing the victory bell.
Stacy was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, mother, wife, godmother, and a friend to everyone she met. Rest assured, if Stacy were here, she would bring color and kindness to all. Stacy will be joining her parents, Ernie and Helen in Heaven.
Stacy is survived by her husband, Rich, her daughter, Madison, her step-daughter, Jessica, her siblings, John and Peggy, her nephew, Paul. The family requests donations be made to Saint George Greek Orthodox Church.
