Sheila “Lynn” Welchel was a 66-year-old caretaker of people. She passed away Wednesday, August 30th, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She cared deeply about others not really paying attention to her own needs and health. If she was not shopping or caring for others, she was trying to rescue abandoned animals. She would always try to save any animal that was suffering or needing a home, which is why she owned five dogs. Lynn cared deeply for nature in all forms, which explains her love of flowers, plants, and trees. Lynn is survived by her three children: Ryan Nees (Son), Keli Pueblo (Daughter) and spouse Joe, and Christy Luhman (Daughter) and spouse Jeremy, four grandchildren: Logan Richardson (Grandson), Lynnsey Dickens (Granddaughter) and spouse Tyson, Carmen Pueblo (Granddaughter), Ryan Nees II (Grandson), Emily Nees (Granddaughter), one great granddaughter Zora Dickens, one sister Nettie Gober, three brothers: Larry Crabb (brother)and spouse Lynna, Frank Crabb, and John Crabb and spouse Karry, and a host of nieces and nephews. Please join her children at Bill Eisenhour 8805 NE 23rd St, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, from 4pm to 8pm on Monday September 11th for viewing. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 12th at 2pm located at Bill Eisenhour.
