Rozena Alexander was born February 16, 1942, in Clarendon, AR, and was the ninth of twelve children born to the late Eli Alexander and Lillie Bee Statewright who preceded her in death.
She accepted Christ at an early age. At the age of 19, she married Thomas W. Arnold Sr. of Holly Grove, AR in 1961. During this union, four children were born; Cynthia Arnold, twins Kenneth and Keith Arnold (who preceded her in death), and Thomas W. Arnold Jr. She later adopted daughter Vanessa Vanreed. She lived a life of service. While residing in Chicago, IL she had a career in healthcare administration and after 12 years, her marriage was dissolved. Rozena then moved to California where she met and married Clifton Jones. They relocated to Grandview, MO where she became the very first Customer Service Manager for Sam’s Club. She retired from this career which she loved and became divorced from this union. After retirement, she moved to Oklahoma City to be closer to her oldest daughter. She lived in Oklahoma City until her departure from this life.
She leaves to mourn her passing brothers John Alexander (California), and Lawrence Alexander (Arkansas) and sisters Blanche Roberts (Missouri), Jerri Alexander (Louisiana), and Norma Plummer (Illinois). Siblings that preceded her in death were Ossie Mae Franks, Johnnie Bee Bratton, Lillie Houston, Emma Culp, Mary Morrow, and Cleophus Alexander. Her children left to mourn her passing are Cynthia (Terry) White of Oklahoma City, Thomas W. Arnold Jr. of Grandview, MO, and Vanessa Vanreed of Lees Summit, MO. Twin sons Kenneth and Keith Arnold preceded her in death. God-Daughters Yolanda Antoine (Ernest) of Jonesboro, GA, and Debra Baltimore of East Hazel Crest, IL. She also leaves five grandchildren Hershell H. Coffey III of Kansas City, MO, Jasmyne Bryant of Grandview, MO, Morgan Arnold of Chicago, IL, Thomas W. Arnold III of Houston, TX, and Alexandria Holly of Lees Summit, MO. Two Great Grandsons Devon Teraud of St. Ann, MO, and Aspen Holly of Lees Summit, MO. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation for Rozena will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at External Service Location, 10220 N Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73114. A graveside service will occur Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at External Service Location, 3400 N Midwest Blvd, Spencer, OK 73084.
