Rosetta Mae (Blackorbay) Burdine, age 102, of Tuttle, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023. Rosetta was born in Miami, Oklahoma to Sarah Elizabeth Murrell Blackorbay and Sherman Blackorbay. A visitation for Rosetta will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service-South Chapel, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A graveside service will occur Friday, February 10, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115.
Rosetta Mae Blackorbay Burdine died Sunday, February 5th at her home in Tuttle, Oklahoma. She was born May 20, 1920 in Miami, Oklahoma to Sherman & Elizabeth Blackorbay. Rosetta was also a member of the Wyandotte Tribe of Oklahoma. She married the love of her life, Charles E. Burdine, on April 3, 1956. Together, they pastored Harvest Time Tabernacle in South Oklahoma City, until his death in 2002. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four sisters, one niece, and four nephews. She is survived by her daughter, Glennys Keel, and her two children in Christ Rev. Carol Travens and her husband, Terry Travens.
Rosetta will be laid to rest in Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115-2640; Section: 20, Lot: 14, Grave: 11.
