Ronald Dale Schultz

A resident of Warrensburg, Missouri, Ronald Dale Schultz passed away on November 29, 2023 in North Kansas City, Missouri. Ronald was born in Watonga, OK on August 10, 1951 to Edward and Marjorie (Helton) Schultz. Ronald graduated from Quartz Hill High School, Class of 1970 and received an associate’s degree from Antelope Valley College in 1981. Ron served in the US Navy during Vietnam and was in the US Air Force Reserve for 30 years.

He was a long-time resident of Tehachapi and the Antelope Valley before moving to Warrensburg, Missouri in 2021. Ron used to enjoy fishing and camping in his free time and he always dreamed to travel in his RV. He would often laugh about stories that we his kids told him from their daily lives or funny things an animal would do. He always taught his kids that anything can be accomplished if you continue to try, eventually you will succeed. The thing he loved most in life was his family and most especially his daughters brought him joy.

Ron had the privilege to work on the space shuttle and many of the nation’s aircrafts. He worked at Edwards AFB until he retired.

Ron was a long-time member of the Nazarene church.

He married Phyllis Leanne Funk in 1981.

Ronald leaves to cherish his memory his loving family: mother Marjorie Schultz; daughters Caroly Ann and husband Lewis Jovan Perez of Gladstone, MO, Sarah Elizabeth and husband Travis King of Bakersfield, CA and Sharon Marie Schultz; brother Richard Allen and wife Janie Lynn Schultz of San Angelo, TX; grandchildren Shaun King, Angelina, Isabella King, Gabriel Perez and Abigail Perez and nephews Tracy Schultz, Vincent Schultz, and James Schultz.

Visitation for Ronald will be 4 pm-8 pm at the funeral home on Friday, December 8th. A service to honor Ron’s life will be 2 pm, Saturday, December 9th at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 N.W. Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK with burial and military honors following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
