Paul Eugene Marti

Paul was born October 10,1958 to parents John Joseph and Syrilla Kay (Schmidt) Marti in Algona, Iowa. Growing up in Iowa, he finished primary and secondary school, before enrolling into the Air Force.

Paul served in the Air Force for twenty-seven years. He was stationed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, in Arizona while he was on active duty. He then moved to Oklahoma where he spent the remainder of his service in the Air National Guard and the Air Force reserves before retiring in 2007. During his time in the Air Force, he was on temporary duty to locations in Europe and Southwest Asia.

Though Paul has passed on, he will be remembered through the love and cherished memories that he has created with his friends and family.

Paul Eugene Marti was preceded in death by his father John Marti Sr. and brother James Marti.

Paul is survived by his loving wife Trang Quach Marti, his children Michael and wife Jaimee Marti of California, and Robert Marti of Pennsylvania, his mother Syrilla Marti of Algona, Iowa, and siblings Theresa and husband Rick Pauls, of Armstrong, Iowa, John Marti Jr., of Oklahoma City, Janet and husband Larry Nelson of Mason City, Iowa, Wendy and husband Mike Nelson of Mason City, Iowa, Patrick Marti of Oakland, Minnesota, and Sarah Marti of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and two grandchildren Jacob Marti and Matthew Marti.

A Memorial Mass for Paul Eugene Marti will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church.
