Mary Drinkwater

Mary Frances Drinkwater, age 65, of Warr Acres, OK passed away at home, Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Mary was born February 20, 1950 in Baton Rouge, the daughter of William David Duncan and Argie Lee Duncan (nee Sullivan). Mary Frances graduated from Putnam City High School in Oklahoma City, OK with class of 1968 and married Charles Wesley Drinkwater in 1970. She resided in Louisiana where they welcomed their daughter, Jennifer Jean (Chackbay, LA) in 1975 and their son, Duncan Wesley (Thibodaux, LA) in 1980. She wast preceded in death by her father, William (Dave) Duncan, her mother Argie Duncan and her sister-in-law Wendy Doecher Duncan. She is survived by her children, Jennifer Jean (Christopher) Anderson of Snohomish, WA, son, Duncan Wesley (Lisa) of Anna, TX, brothers, James Duncan, Oklahoma, City, OK, Thomas Duncan, Vista, CA and sister, Alice Gallagher (Mike) of Kansas City, MO. Grandchildren, Kaylyn Nicole, Kody Lane, Grayson Charles, Gavin Christopher, Joel Zechariah, Savannah Michelle and Jerrod Josiah. She leaves behind a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends as well. Mary Frances worked for Southwestern Bell Phone Company until she retired after 29 years. She was an incredible person who enjoyed reading, crafting, traveling, researching genealogy, watching her favorite cooking shows and simply spending time with family and friends. She was a loving mother and a dear friend that will be missed.
