Marge was born February 06, 1926, the daughter of Elizabeth Larson, and was raised in St. Joseph, MO. She graduated from Missouri Western University and later married Edwin Olson. She was the anchor of the family as they moved repeatedly for Ed’s career. She held multiple jobs outside the home and retired from her last position with the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission. She had a kind heart, was an avid reader, and was passionate about caring for animals.
Those who will miss Marge the most include her husband, Ed Olson; son, John Olson and wife Prue; son, Jim Olson and his wife Mary; daughter, Jane Chandler and husband Gary; grandchildren, Carrie, Mark, Barney, and Max; great-grandchildren, Felicity, Harry, Ben, and Leighton; and many close friends.
A private service celebrating Marge’s life will be held at St. Luke’s Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Free to Live.
