Louise Artie (McCoy) Bray was born October 12, 1925 in Daisy, Oklahoma to Virgil and Zenoba (Edwards) McCoy. Louise went into the horse racing industry and was an owner/operator of her own racehorse stable business. She adored all things to do with horses, it was her lifelong passion. Louise also had a very big soft spot for her family, dogs, and cats. She is survived by her son, Terry Woods of Hot Springs, Arkansas; son, “Butch” Bray of Choctaw, Oklahoma, sister, Arlene Harris; sister, Colleen Kasnurm; sister, Patsy McCoy; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Zenoba McCoy; husband, Harold Bray; brother, Dwayne McCoy; sister, LaVella Shockley-McCoy; uncle, Bill McCoy; and uncle, George McCoy. Funeral services for Louise will be at 2:00P.M., Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City 73141. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
