She was born in Bronx, New York on December 12, 1922. Lillian spent most of her life living in Bronx, New York. She often visited her sisters in Vineland and Dunellen, NJ. Lillian worked as an assembler, and in packaging, for Loral Electronics where she retired in March 1988. She loved knitting, crocheting, bingo and traveling.
Lillian my not have had children of her own, but she had 14 nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Living close to her sister Helen, Lillian was a big part of Helen’s family. Holidays and special events always included Aunt Lou. In 1996 Lillian relocated to Edmond, OK with her sister Helen. She adjusted well to life in Oklahoma and found new friends along the way. She enjoyed her trips to the casino. Aunt Lou spent much of her time with her nephew John, nieces Helene and Joan and their children.
Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Salomea Pogorzelski, siblings Frank Pogorzelski, Chester Pogorzelski, Mary Pogorzelski, Helen Wendling, Josephine Karwowski and Stella Povich.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, October 30, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
