MSgt. Retired Kermit J. Kimbro of Nicoma Park, Ok passed away March 14, 2010. He was born August 4, 1931 in Idabel, Oklahoma to William Michael and Clair (Broom) Kimbro. He was a member and served on the board of Family Life Assembly of God Church in Nicoma Park, OK. He loved serving in his church and he helped with the Angel Food Ministry. He enjoyed gardening, O.U. football and spending time with his many grandchildren. His parents and ten siblings preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Vera of the home; four sons: Kevin Kimbro and wife, Lisa, Kyle Kimbro, Darrell Sorrels and wife, Lynn, and Donnie Sorrels; three daughters: Karen Shah and husband, Suresh, Kim Wheeler and husband, Danny, and Pamela Fowler and husband, Jonnie; one sister, Faye Tobias; 33 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and one on the way; six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Family Life Assembly of God Church with burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, OK.
