June would go on to graduate high school, living in Texas, and then moving to Enid, Oklahoma where she worked as a telephone operator. June would dedicate 35 years of her life as a receptionist to Jackie Cooper Olds GMC in Yukon, Oklahoma. June would marry Alton E. (Pete) Miller in 1952, the couple would have one child, Butch, and eventually settled in Bethany in 1965.
After a week of hard work, June would enjoy her time relaxing by dancing or fishing on the weekends. June’s spirit as a hard working girl from Texas would show her loved ones the importance of hard work. She also made a point to remind them to always look back and be proud of where they came from. June enjoyed being with her family, especially by making practical jokes with family and friends.
June is preceded in death by parents Osie Lee Haynie and Connie Kays Haynie, spouse Alton E. (Pete) Miller, and siblings Brenda Warehime, Mary Jo Walker, and Francis Deladova.
She is survived by her son Alton (Butch) Miller, wife Roxanne, grandchildren Julia Miller and Ginger Lugo, and great-grandchildren Gabriel Lugo and Isabella Lugo.
