Joseph Bright

Joseph Wayne “Joey” Bright was born August 6, 1979 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He passed from this life December 10, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 40 years. Joey had lived in this area most of his life. He was a 1999 graduate of Midwest City High School where he enjoyed participating in baseball and basketball. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, working on cars and bowling. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his son Eli. Joey never met a stranger. He was always the first to help someone no matter what the circumstance. He had a giving heart and found great joy in helping people. He was full of energy and a zest for life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Joey was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Faye Hilton and his paternal grandparents, Harlan and Velda Bright. He is survived by his parents, Kenny and Charlene Bright of Choctaw; his wife, Rebecca Conklin Bright of Midwest City; his son, Eli Bright also of Midwest City; sister, Melissa Bright of Ada; nieces, Sara Kelley and Izzy Davis and nephew Jericho Davis. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 17, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City.
